69 Title: Solitary Leaf

Catalyst: Living on the East Coast leaves have been part of our lives for ever. Tree and leaf identification have long been an interest of mine. I am inspired by the function and structure of leaves in the management of chlorophyll and the production of energy.
Challenge: Giving depth to a simple leaf pattern spoke to the dynamics of the leaf structure. Being able to employ a pattern multiple times speaks to the power of the Inkscape design software.
