75 Title: Deer-Tree Silhouette

Catalyst: There are many silhouette images of this variety that can be found on the web. For example searching Etsy for “deer tree silhouette” results in several of these images. A few examples:

Challenge: The biggest question in producing this image was whether the laser cutter could handle lines as thin as a thread. What a wonderful surprise to find that the quite complex design came out clean except for minor burn marks. (Actually the burn marks on the white silhouette gives some color to the deer.) I considered adding other layers to indicate ground and background was considered. But the stark beauty the silhouette was sufficient.
