Catalyst: Calligraphic symbols have always been fascinating, and the Japanese Kanji designs are often inspirational. To see how varied are the symbols just Google “kanji calligraphy happiness”.
Challenge: This was hopefully the beginning of a series of patterns based on the Kanji calligraphy. But the challenge has not been fully met: holes within holes are structurally ill-defined. The challenge remains.
