Catalyst: An image from pixtastock.com was the start of this design.  Like the deer/stag that was developed earlier, the tree motif is suggestive of many possible forms.

Challenge: While the structure of the tree was not technically challenging, the design seemed to ask for a background consistent with the theme. An array of leaves in autumn colors was an initial experiment.
