Catalyst: Images of he Owl can be found in many places on the web. An original pattern found on Instagram at christinescoolcreations the Owl lends itself to a depth treatment.
Challenge: How to develop the pattern using the simple tools available in Inkscape was a challenge. The eyes were an obvious series of concentric circles, but the beak had to be handled with care.
